1.1 This Technical Report is intended to explain the application of IEC 62061 and ISO 13849-1[1], respectively, in the design of safety-related control systems for

IEC 61508 is the international reference standard on functional safety of electric, electronic and programmable electronic systems. The Standard consists of seven sections.
